To set the properties of a Record Entity Positions track:

1. Right-click on a Record Entity Position track ‘header’ (in the area below the Playback toolbar) and select Track properties.

   The ‘Properties’ dialog is displayed, open on the ‘Entity Position file’ tab.

2. Next to ‘Filename to save to’, click the browse button to display the ‘Save As’ dialog.
3. Navigate to the location where you would like to save the Entity position file, enter a name, and click Save.
4. If you want to record Entity positions in a specified area of the visualisation, check the box labelled ‘Use region’ and enter the associated coordinates to define the 3D ‘box’ within which you would like to save Entity Positions:
   • Minimum (x,y,z)
   • Maximum (x,y,z)

   These figures can be positive or minus integers depending on where along the three axes you need the limits of your box to be.

5. If you want to change the default ‘Save frequency’ of 0.6 seconds, enter a new value in the box labelled ‘Save entity positions every n seconds’.
6. Click OK to apply these settings.
